The last episode of The Real Housewives of Durban ended on such a sour and bitter note, with trusted friendships taking a knock and suffering horribly.
It’s hard to believe that it’s already been 12 weeks of the drama; from the first Episode, we have been taken through the most entertaining and sometimes shocking drama in the show.
It was a shock to learn that two of the most loved housewives wouldn’t be 4eturning for season two of the show. Ayanda Ncwane and Kgomotso Ndungane left the show in the first season, and from there, we prepared our minds for the new characters.
The addition of JoJo Robinson, musical Londie London, and Uthando Nes’ thembu star Thobile Makhumalo Mseleku made for some perfect television.
At the beginning of season 2, viewers expected LaConco and Makhumalo to hit it off as it happened in the first season between Ayanda and LaConco.
We have come to know now that that friendship was not to be. In fact, LaConco and Makhumalo didn’t like each other at all. Viewers started noticing that LaConco seemed to be campaigning against MaKhumalo.
Nonku was still being controversial and bringing issues she had with Ayanda to season two. Many did feel that Nonku was the backbone of the show this season, and some decided that LaConco turned out to be very mean this season.
Many felt that Londie Londons’ storyline was non-existent and that Annie was acting juvenile the whole season.
Everyone is waiting for the reunion so they can see how Mabusi deals with JoJo Robinson’s rudeness to her in the last episode.
The show’s viewers have been saying they are experiencing withdrawal symptoms because there are no more new episodes.
They are seriously unhappy that they will have to wait for almost a month for the reunion.
According to entertainment commentator Phil Mphela, the reunion will be a two-part special, and the first part will air on 6 May, and the second part will air on13 May 2022.

The last two-part special reunion was the most dramatic, and Phat Joe was the host for that one.
Judging from all the drama that took place between the ladies this season, the reunion is going to be epic. Fans of the show have expressed their desire to see more of MaBusi on the show as a regular feature, not a person that appears as a guest. They feel that her story would be more relatable to viewers.
