Watch Next on The Wife: Hlomu seeks revenge Zulu-style
The Wife has surpassed viewers expectations by far as it has hooked them on their screens when a triple dose of episodes is released. It’s been one bumpy ride as we walk through Hlomu’s love story with Mqhele. Just when they thought that things would get better after they rebuilt their father’s home in Mbumba, things turned worse. Their enemies find them in one place and attack.
In last week’s episodes, it was Mqhele and Hlomu’s traditional wedding in Mbuba. Like any typical family gathering, there was some drama. However, the Majola brothers saw it as an excellent time to round up men to attack the Zulu family. They made a sneaky fake peace offering to the brothers with a sheep. After attending the ceremony, they both excused themselves in the middle of the wedding and came back to attack guns blazing.
They shot and killed Nkosana’s son Mvelo and Sambulo’s fiance in the gunfight. Mpande, one of the youngest trio of the Zulu brother, was also down and shot. There was crying and terror all over the Zulu household, with people holding their late loved ones in their arms.

In the next three episodes of the Showmax hit series, we see the Zulu family lying to rest their loved ones. The whole family is grieving and angry at their attackers. Mqhele will try to give Hlomu a way out as his eyes are opened to how dangerous it is to be associated with him.
Instead of taking the easy way out, Hlomu chooses the highway and sticks to the Zulu family. Because she loves the kids, she is angry, and her vengeful side comes out to play. She gives the Zulu brothers an order that they are all too happy to fulfil. Hlomu asks for the heads of all the people who killed her children, and the Zulu brothers go on a killing spree. Will they find out that the Majolas are the brains behind the attacks?
