When artists perform, they usually stand up and entertain the crowd. If it happens that an artist remains seated, they eventually get up and do their job. This did not seem like the Royal AM chairman’s mandate at a recent performance. Andile Mpisane was performing in a club whilst sitting down. He sat by a table full of alcohol with his friends, and he was performing. Very unusual.
On the table, there were so many bottles of alcohol. We know he doesn’t go clubbing without spending on expensive liquor bottles. There were beer bottles, champagne bottles in the brand aces and vodka bottles. Mr AM was sitting by that table with a microphone, and some of the people he was performing for were dancing.
Performing whilst drinking
Yes, he was performing sitting down with a microphone in his hand, but he also took casual sips of the alcohol. Artists worldwide drink behind the scenes before or after performing. As with many professions drinking on the job is just not allowed. Even international stars like Beyonce or Kanye West are never on stage drinking. In a way, he disrespected the profession.
Mzansi reacts
Mzansi reacted to the video, taking jabs against the young chairman. Some people said the luxury of money made him perform that way. People have alleged that the Royal AM chairman pays to perform at gigs since nobody knows his songs. People believe he pays to complete, unlike the artists who get born to perform. Some Mzansi people think Andile doesn’t need these gigs. He has money already, so he can do as he pleases.
In Mzansi, people will joke about a person so much, and some of the jokes hit close to home. People joked about him sitting. The Ubala singer was sitting since he was stressing about Royal AM FC‘s soccer team.
Jabs at his fade
Jokes went on and on about the young man until one person pointed out how his fade doesn’t look appealing. His fade was pointed out, and the hair on his head does not look like it’s fading. His hair is plain and shiny, and the fade part is non-existent.
