Tina Dlathu, better known as Khwezi on The River, decided to go on a hiking adventure with her Tik Tok fans to demonstrate to her followers how she spends her money.
The young and upcoming actress has only recently joined The River, but she has already generated a lot of buzz and online fan attention. She recently wrote about a hike she had taken, and she appeared to be having a great time. The actress can be seen wearing tights, a simple white top, and a hat to block the sun. She seems to enjoy the simpler things in life, unlike other actresses. She can be seen having fun with her friends while walking this trail and admiring the wild and stunning dams in the video.
She informed her followers that she was at the Rietvlei Zoo Farm in Abelrton and declared her love for hiking and the idea that weekends should only be used for hiking. Like her on-screen character, Khwezi, she gives off the impression of being grounded.
This time, Tina Dlathu, who is related to lead actress Sindi Dlathu, was hired. Sindi also doubles as the drama series’ co-executive producer. For various reasons, the drama has been receiving negative Twitter attention. In real life, Tina Dlathu is Sindi Dlathu’s sister, and lately, people have been whining that she got the part just because her sister is in the cast.
Khwezi, a character in The River, is portrayed by Tina. She is the youngest member of the affluent and influential Hlophe family, which was first seen in season five of the 1Magic telenovela. The Hlope family is led by Bukhosi, a traditional patriarch who is cunning and dangerous (played by actor Bheki Mkhwane). However, Mzansi’s acting didn’t hold up in the context. She was allegedly hired based on merit rather than talent.
The River has been making news for all the wrong reasons lately. After a close examination, the drama series’ viewers want it to be cancelled. Its demise has been attributed to the Mzansi Magic drama series’ change in plot and storyline. The series’ problems have worsened due to recycled plotlines and a significant actor exodus.
Mzansi weighed in on the debate on social media and blamed the showrunners for the drama series demise. They also criticized the producers for choosing family members for the drama series rather than actors with solid acting chops.
It’s interesting to note that the drama series was previously blamed for these bad auditions. Veteran actress Moshidi Motshegwa left the drama series a few years ago after she revealed that Larona Moagi had been hired for The River. The seasoned actress said they hire anyone when speaking about her working relationship with Larona Moagi on The River.
