Generations The Legacy actors decided to accept the Hamba Wena challenge as well. Almost all actors are participating in this challenge, which has gained traction online, alone or with other cast members. Manaka Ranaka, best known for her on-screen character Lucy Diale on Generations, apparently coerced the other cast members to join her in the challenge because she couldn’t help but not miss out on the fun.
She was able to drive her on-screen husband, whose real name is Kope Makgae but who goes by Mrekza on the show, as well as his on-screen brother Cosmo, played by Ronnie Nyakale, to come and join her. She shared the hilarious video on her Instagram. On the other hand, Ronnie just gave up before the dance routine even began and just did his own side thing that he felt would fit with the song. Manaka and are seen eagerly trying to do the dance right, but they keep butchering it.

Generations actors nail the Hamba Wena dance challenge
Manaka plays the role of Lucy Diale on Generations. Lucy is a street-wise go-getter with a dash of style. She runs a shebeen in Alex. Manaka joined the show after the program dealt with an odd incident where all actors left the program due to a disagreement with the SABC. Manaka was one of the brand-new fictional characters the channel developed for a brand-new story. She won Mzansi’s heart the moment she appeared on screen; the rest is history.
Shoki Mmola, chosen for her work as Celia Magongwa on Skeem Saam, was one the most outstanding performers Manaka faced for the award. As a result, she values this victory greatly. Manaka expressed her sincere thanks to everyone for helping out on set and praised her coworkers for making it so easy for her to bring Lucy to life on stage. Lerato Mvelase and Kelly Khumalo, her two friends in the business, sent Manaka their congratulations and best wishes for a job well done.
It had been overdue for Manaka to win the SAFTA. Manaka Ranaka won Best Actress, and the Generations cast celebrated in true Lucy style. Although she took a significant break from the screen and neglected Generations for months while pregnant with her son, Seni, Mzansi believed she deserved it the most because she had given Lucy such a life.
