Nandi Nyembe’s exit from House of Zwide broke a lot of fans’ hearts. The older woman had a heart attack and her daughter-in-law Faith just watched her die. This was because she had uncovered the secret of Ona being Funani’s daughter who was believed to be dead.
The actress had a death hoax following her departure from the series but she set the record straight. After House of Zwide, she has landed minor roles in some dramas and movies. Recently the project she has been working on has finally been released and made public.
According to the post she has made on her Instagram the actress has a role in a new Mzansi Magic movie. The movie is called Baba wase Next Door and it’s 100% local. The movie is based on a man who is a councillor and his respectable wife. They are politicians big on family values but the man has a dark past secret.

The big secret is that the girl who works next door as a maid is his daughter whom he abandoned years back. However, he finds out after the girl falls sick and the condition is said to be caused by the fact that she does not know her roots. Together with his wife, they do not know what to do as this secret can cause them to lose the elections.
Veteran actress Nandi Nyembe takes on the role of a prophetess in the movie who knows the truth. She is someone who sees spiritually and the secret comes out through her. Other talents that are in the film are actress Zimkhitha Letlotlo and famous actor Saint Seseli. The film is produced by Mphilo Shabalala and Bobby Heaney. The movie is set to be shown on Mzansi Magic tonight on channel 161 at 2030hrs.
