Once again, Dj Tira released free-flowing dance moves that left fans amazed. The Maluma and Nguwe hitmaker was the top performer at the Day Vibes experience party hosted in Durban. With over 20 years in the Entertainment business, the 45-year-old has matured like wine.

The award winner DJ is becoming used to trending with his smooth dance moves all over the internet. He sets the party on fire at the Day Vibes Experience. With fans singing along to his lyrics ‘kunkutshwala’, DJ Tira started to enjoy himself as he showcased that he still got some bearings in his legs. Indeed DJ Tira is sure of his bearings as he posted the video on Instagram captioned ‘TheBearingsWay is too much.’ The atmosphere became fire, and everyone joined the 2020 KZN Entertainment Special Achievement Award winner on the show.

DJ Tira’s career

Tira was born Mthokozisi Khathi in KwaHlabisa, KwaZulu-Natal, before moving to Durban at a young age. After developing his love for music and entertainment at University, He won the Sminorff DJ Knockout competition and Mthokozisi Mbatha from Hlabisa. Tira released his first record, Real Makoya, with DJ Khabzela in 2001. From then, the name Tira grew, joining famous groups like Big Nuz and releasing hits like Unsindo featuring professor, Happy man, among many. Tira is now one of the finest DJs and producers in South Africa is one of the longest-serving DJs topping the charts.

DJ Tira is part of the artists who discovered the Gqlom music genre.

Personal life, Wife and children

Tira is one of the scandal-free top entertainers in Mzansi. He revealed that he learnt to be faithful to his wife, a claim which no one can challenge so far. Married to Gugu Khathi in 2013, the couple has three children. Gugu once joined The Real Housewives Of Johannesburg.
