Wadiwa wepamoyo Episode 1
Episode one starts with Tawanda also known as “Mani Tawa” a local talented soccer player whose only dream was to play for English top club Manchester United, narrating on how he ends up in a relationship with Nokuthula also known as “Noku”, a young and beautiful girl who had and her family recently moved in the suburbs in Trafalgar Avenue in Sentosa Harare.
School going Noku who is clearly from a well up family is having challenges in Physics and her parents suggest she should join a local library to up her grades and to keep her busy ” off boys”.
Chido (from an average family in the suburbs) is well experienced in basic household chores as she introduces Noku to the “ University of life” on how to carry a bucketful of water which however turns in tragedy.
Thirsty Mani Tawa and Biko his friend, football coach and right wing man who have been having a training session all day in the scorching sun of November met the two girls at a borehole while trying to quench their thirsty and LOVE happens, Mani Tawa fell in love with Noku on first sight.
Tawanda lived with his sister Shamiso, a single mother and her child crèche going Kuku. Shamiso struggled to make ends meet as she wasn’t receiving child support from Kuku’s father hence resorted to buying and selling fish.
Biko and Tawanda tried to solicit Noku’s phone number from Chido who told them that she can only bring Noku to the borehole the following day.
