Andile Mchunu Bobo who went missing a week ago in Hamanathi, Tongaat in Durban was found dead in Newton River, Tongaat.
Andile Bobo Mchunu’s body was recovered by SAPS at it was already decomposed. 16 year old Andile Mchunu was beaten to death at Magagula lodge in Tongaat for allegedly stealing beer and money.
Call of justice for Bobo was received by the police who intensified their efforts and arrested 6 suspects in connection with the murder. The Magagula lodge owner is among the arrested suspects.
SAPS spokesperson Brigadear Jay Naicker says discovered remains will be sent for forensic analysis. The search & rescue team’s been searching for a missing Gr12 pupil from Tongaat. He was last seen being beaten at a local tavern for alleged alcohol theft.
