It was all joy in Mam Connie’s camp when she won the prestigious lifetime recognition within two months. She celebrated both awards as SAFTAS presented her with the first one. It is with Black Panter that Connie starred in an international film. There she showed a different class that made fans worldwide fall in love with her. Undoubtedly, given the length and quality of her career, Connie Chiume deserved whatever she is getting today.
