Tshiamo Modisane, who plays Nina, a character whispering in Lazarus’s ears, is loaded in real life. The success of Tshiamo is most centred upon hard work and pure determination to have a clean brand. Nina from House of Zwide started a business when she was still in High School, and she sold perfumes to her peers. Then she fell in love with the art of grooming and beauty, so she pursued it as a career path.
After High School, Tshiamo tried her hand in styling other people, and when she got her first-ever shoot with Move magazine, she never looked back again. She started making a name for herself as one of the biggest beauty influencers in the country. She made her name a brand that she credits to the work she has done famous styling people and has prestigious names in her contact list.
Because of the fame, she had gained to her name; the fashion icon became Lux’s first gender non-conforming brand ambassador. Then though other companies later collaborated with her, the Lux deal, which was announced in 2018, is the one she calls the most impactful of her career. She has managed to work with brands that include Castle Lager, Bernini, Absolut Vodka, Kleenex and Liquifruit. This has seen her raking in big bucks as she built her empire up.
Tshiamo Modisane’s fashion and Television career
When people noticed her other talents, she was given a job as a content producer on Real Goboza. This job she has held for some time, and after that, she created her content on her podcast. The podcast she called The Transcript with Tshiamo hosted the likes of Thembi Seete, Zizo Tshwete, Shudufhadzo Musida and Penny Lebyane. The fashion icon stated that the podcast only started as a concept. She is proud that it grew to a platform where people of influence can have meaningful conversations.
As if all of that was not enough, Tshiamo tried her hand acting with her debut role in African Dreams. She met the show’s producer at a function. They had a conversation about how she wanted to add a transitioning character to the series. Modisane gave her insight into how the story could be told. After the writer wrote the idea down, the fashion stylist offered the character. Her role as Nina in House of Zwide is her second Television role, and she is enjoying every moment.
The beauty stylist is estimated to be worth $1.5 million, with most of her earnings coming from her stylist job, brand partnerships gigs and acting.
