It has been a roller coaster ride participating in the Miss World pageant for this term. The models and the organizing team have faced several challenges because of the Covid pandemic that faces the world. This has seen the finale of the beauty competition being postponed from December to March. However, Shudufhadzo Musida advances in the competition as she has been announced as one of the top 40 finalists.

Shudufhadzo Musida and the official Miss world organization have taken to their Instagram pages to announce that she will be advancing to the top 40 competition in March this year. The South African Beauty won the Beauty with a purpose competition and the other five contestants, which meant that she automatically qualified for her spot in the top 40. The competition that earned her a place was to award beauty contestants with the most significant charity projects back in their countries.

The South African beauty queen has been helping her fellow South Africans with her Mindful Monday project. Shudufhadzo used her platform on Facebook to host a mental health awareness programme that has been met with a lot of positive reviews. The model has encouraged her followers to seek help and not be ashamed of sharing their problems.

On top of the social media platform, Shudufhadzo wrote and published a children’s book called Shudu finds her magic. Because she was bullied when she was a kid, the model wrote the book to help bullied children. It helps them overcome it and not have the experiences affect their lives. The Miss World competition judges agreed that she had left her mark in the world. The panel gave her and five other Beauty queens automatic entry to the top 40 through Beauty with a purpose.
