Troublesome Child, Gomora actor London ‘Robert Mpisi’ is older than he looks; his age stuns Mzansi.
South African actor Robert Mpisi is famous for playing the role of London on Gomora and Zenzele on Scandal. Over the different casts and storylines, Mpisi plays a consistent role of a trouble maker; the only difference is that Gomora comes from a poor family while he is a spoilt child from a wealthy family in Scandal.
London on Gomora
The London character on Gomora was a naughty Gomora High School student who exchanged blows with the school’s Principal Melusi Dlamini. London, a drug dealer who abuses his mother, found favour in social worker Gladys Dlamini’s eyes. Gladys was determined to change London’s fortunes after he got expelled from school for fighting with Melusi; she risked her family and marriage to give him a fair chance on turning his life around. After joining car hijacking syndicates, he met his fate and crossed paths with MaSonto.
In Scandal, Robert Mpisi plays the role of Zenzele Khubeka, a troublesome son of the Khubeka family who always finds his way to stir trouble in the family business. His abuse of company property to conduct dodgy and illegal trade and fall out with some of his siblings is proof that Zenzele is always out for trouble.

In 2022, Mpisi turned 37 years, a massive contrast in 18 -21 years of onscreen roles he plays. Robert Mpisi matriculated in Klerksdorp and graduated with a BA in Live Performance at AFDA, a qualification he attained while he was already popular on television.
