Mondli is still on a warpath trying to solve the hijacking that got one of his officers killed and left the other one fighting for her life.
The case is proving very difficult to crack and prompts him to take the route he would otherwise never take, but does it out of desperation. He talks to Nkunzi about the new danger in KwaMashu. Even though Nkunzi told Mondli off, deep down he knows something is up now.
Nonka’s first day as a salesperson turns disastrous as she encounters a stray dog that nearly bites her. She refuses Sibonelo’s help and basically blamed him for all the problems she is facing in her life.
Mbatha blames himself for Lilly getting shot, he walked in on some of the church members praying for Lilly’s recovery and irritates MaDongwe and MaDlala with his comments. Mbatha is still trying to campaign for the KFC church and he needs the Shlobo ladies for that. They are a very integral part of the church.

A big shift has taken place in KwaMashu since the new season. It’s very clear that there are new troublemakers in town and this has Nkunzi very worried. Nkunzi feels like he is not in control after a long time.
It looks like Mondli is moving in the right direction as he has discovered information that could improve his case. Mondli will stop at nothing to solve this case at this point. He has a score to settle.
Sbu tries to talk to Nkunzi about his release because three months have passed and their deal was that Nkunzi would negotiate for his release after three months and that hadn’t happened.
Hlela’s visit to the home turns unpleasant and she is afraid to deliver the news about the state she found Gogo in when she visited him in jail. Gogo tells Hlela that Sbu has a younger brother. Hlela tried to plead Sbu’s case with Nkunzi the other day and Nkunzi basically told her to leave him alone.
