South Africans are mourning the death of celebrated rapper AKA, who was gunned down in Durban nightclub YUGO where he was expected to perform as part of his birthday celebrations. AKA’s memorial service was done on the 17th of February and his son Kairo Forbes comforted her father’s girlfriend, Nadia Nakai.
The heartbreak experienced by the late rapper’s family was undeniable on Friday as they broke down multiple times during the rapper’s memorial service, which took place at the Sandton Convention centre.
Grieving Nadia Nakai broke Nadia broke down during the service and was comforted by the elderly women from AKA’s family, including AKA’s mother, Lynn Forbes. After a few minutes, Kairo walked up to Nadia and hugged her lovingly as she rubbed her little hand on her back.
Kairo glorified the hug with a kiss and Nadia stopped crying as she continued hugging. After a few minutes of their overwhelming moment,Kairo sat with her mother, DJ Zinhle, as the memorial service continued.

Kairo, AKA (the late), Nadia and Forbes family went on a family vacation in December to celebrate christimass. Nadia and Kairo could have formed a good relationship and they seems to be very close.
