Thato Dithebe ‘Neo’ from House of Zwide is an engineer in real life

Thato Dithebe is a familiar face on Television screens and has been one of Mzansi’s sweethearts since he was eight. The actor recently debuted on House of Zwide, and fans felt deja vu at seeing him, but most were not sure where they had seen him before. With the way he takes on the role of Neo flawlessly in House of Zwide, many would not believe that he is an Engineer by profession in real life.

The actor debuted his role playing Neo in House of Zwide recently when the character of Alex Khadzi debuted onscreen. Neo is Alex’s right-hand man and design assistant with who he shares all his secrets and plans to destroy Funani Zwide. Because of that, he has been trusted with the task of scouting for the weakest link in the House of Zwide, who they can use to manipulate Funani Zwide and ultimately destroy the older designer. He chose Zanele as his victim, and with Alex, they started planning their major plan against the Zwides.

Thato Dithebe is an engineer in real life

The actor and television personality grew up in the public’s eye, so they made headlines when his matric results came out. He has always been intelligent, which showed in how he carried himself. When he went to get his degree at the University of Witswatersrand, Thato Dithebe took on a degree in Civil engineering. He recently graduated in 2021 and is fresh out of school, where he took his studies while pursuing a career in Television.

His career in Television

At 8, he debuted his career as a media personality when he competed and won the Maggie 2-minute Noodles Presenter search for YoTV. He speaks of himself as a versatile performer as he is into presenting, dancing, acting, and, on top of that, an engineer. Currently, Thato Dithebe has been getting a lot of screen time alongside Candice Modiselle on Gen Z, a music show on Channel O.
