Slay Queen shows off a new car on social media, gets hijacked the same day
No doubt social media can make one overnight sensation or ruins one-lifetime achievement. Some days it doesn’t pay to show off online. Recently a young woman took it to Twitter to flex her new thousand dollar ride but a few hours later she was counting her losses.
Little is known about what really transpired but it was established that a young woman took to Twitter to flex her new ride and got hijacked on the same day. The alleged thieves must have been tipped off about her car and somehow knew her location.
The car got hijacked a few hours after the young lady saw herself trending on Twitter when she showed off her new whip. Her comment section was flooded with warning comments but it seems as if she paid a deaf ear to the comment section.

However a few hours later social media influencer Man’s NOT Barry Roux, @AdvoBarryRoux, shared the woman’s tweet which indicated that the car was stolen. The tweet was captioned “South Africa is a crime scene.”
However, despite the post being taken down several social media users had already made the tweet viral. Contacted for comment the girl did confirm that her car was stolen after she posted pics of it online. She revealed that she had deleted the post from her Twitter account.
The hijacking comes barely a few weeks after Durban Regional Court slapped two men who went on a hijacking spree in the Montclair, south of Durban to 155 years collectively behind bars.
Sphamandla Sithole and Sizwe Mkhungo made all sorts of headlines back then in 2018. Their reign of terror shocked Durban and Mzansi at large from car hijacking to alleged human trafficking.
