Let’s recap previous episodes.
As Mapitsi knows, life is about to end as she tries to begin her journey with the cookbook.
The meeting between Paddy, Kat and Candice went very well until her Turf Times boss caught her.
Her boss walked in as Mapitsi finished the meeting at Capsys, and things got sour quickly.
Her editor in Chief pretended not to have a problem, and then when Mapitsi got home, she received a message inviting her to an early meeting at Turf Times.
Mapitsi got stressed because her boss had given her a written warning the day before.
Things are going to get worse.
Marothi is a determined man who makes sure that the new Principal knows he won’t take no for an answer. He finally got Magongwa to accept his expensive gift.
Things are starting to look suspicious. It’s possible that Magongwa doesn’t know, but he didn’t just get the Principal chair on merit alone. Something is up with Marothi.
The drama with Khwezi continues; now, she has called her other uncle to help her win Lehasa back.
Coming up on the next episode
Mapitsi is going to lose her job as a journalist. This is happening because she was walking on a thin line anyway.
On Wednesday, she received a written warning for neglecting her job and focusing on her cookbook. After she gets an invitation for an early meeting from her Editor in Chief, she will be shown the door.
A lot is going wrong with this situation. Mapitsi picked up a very devastating side to Paddy. She ignores Kat and addresses only Candice, and she doesn’t want Kat to be a part of the cookbook, saying he isn’t marketable.
Paddy will destroy Kat, and Candice will help her, but that’s a story for another day.
Khwezi has reared her green-eyed monster again, asking her uncle Manqoba to help her.
Lehasa is in love and only with Pretty, but he also loves his child, and Khwezi is using that to her advantage in a big way.
Magongwa may have gained the Principal’s chair but lost Celia. He is about to learn that she is never coming back to Turfloop.
