Last night’s episode of Skeem Saam has left a sour taste in the viewer’s mouth. On Friday Lehasa coughed up R80,000 to pay for Khwezi’s Lobola after the negotiations took a turn and the Maphosa clan was forced to end up agreeing to the Gasela’s terms.
Khwezi was supposed to stay at her home for a week as a tradition but Viewers were shocked when Khwezi rocked up at Lehasa’s penthouse a few hours later when he was about to treat Pretty to a nice outing to Cape Town!
Khwezi pulled a fast one on Lehasa and showed up with Malume Manqoba and her stepmother.
The scene was so intense that we were all clenching our teeth from the nerves.
Khwezi posted pictures of herself 9n social media as Mrs Maphosa and when Pretty asked Lehasa about that he lied to her and pretended Khwezi was crazy.
So imagine Pretty’s shock when Khwezi rocked up with her family, basically to deliver a new bride to her husband.
Pretty chose to wait for Lehasa the entire weekend while he was in Bloem with his uncles after he ditched her on her birthday and left her alone in a hotel.
The ups and downs that Pretty is going through for love are too much, as it now seems like she is a homewrecker and an intruder in Khwezi’s marriage.
Lehasa is going to have to choose between his live for Pretty and his freedom because, lest we forget, he is still facing a murder trial that is fast approaching.
He won’t have time to deal with all this “Isithembu” drama, but that doesn’t mean Khwezi will stop trying her luck with him.
According to the teasers, on Wednesday, Khwezi is going to try and seduce Lehasa and he turns her down flat.
Pretty has been called to come back home and she is still hanging on to a loveless relationship with a married man. The reason she has been giving to everyone, to keep staying with Lehasa is that she couldn’t go home since her mother didn’t want her anymore. That reason has been depleted by her mother, now why is she not going home, love?
Is PreHasa strong enough to withstand Khwezi and all of Lehasa’s problems?
Watch Skeem Saam on SABC1 at 18h30.
