Mokgadi “Pebetsi Matlaila” from Skeem Saam is now a radio host

Pebetsi Nolo Matlaila has played Mokgadi Matloga since the third season of the SABC1 soap opera Skeem Saam in 2014. The third season of the SABC 1 youth drama series Skeem Saam features the actress. When Leeto Maputla was still a DJ, she first caught Mzansi’s attention while interviewing him. He showed love to her during the interview, and she agreed to go on a date with him. After a few weeks, Leeto and Mokgadi started dating, eventually getting engaged.

She married him after a brief engagement. She made a few appearances on the soap opera after her son Noah was sent to prison. She showed up during the attempted murder trial of Meiki Maputla to cause a commotion. Meiki stopped appearing in the program after receiving her punishment. She is still a part of the story, so that she can return any time.

Pebetsi had some experience in the media industry before joining the SABC 1 drama series. Capricorn FM employed her as a radio host. While exploring the world of plus-size modelling and working as a voice-over artist, she maintained her position. After joining Skeem Saam, she couldn’t balance her acting and radio careers, so she decided to pursue drama instead. She did a fantastic job in her role as a debut actress. Pebetsi also hosted daily shows on Capricorn FM and graduated from Polokwane’s Capricorn High School in 2003. After finishing high school, she enrolled in an acting, presenting, and production school. She received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Africa.
