Former Generations The Legacy actress Asanda Foji who played Simphiwe, is slaying makoti attires, and South Africa loves it. A few weeks ago, the actress posted she was getting married traditionally, and now she regularly posts content of herself on Instagram wearing traditional new bride outfits.
In South Africa, when a woman gets married, there are certain clothes she’s required to wear by her in-laws, and this is an intercultural practice meaning most women do this. She wears long-sleeved shirts, head wraps to cover her hair and skirts that reach her ankles.
Although many people congratulated the actress for getting married to the love of her life, many of her fans shared the view that they missed her on the small screen. The actress went into Generations the Legacy and acted for a while, then left the show indefinitely out of the blue just when people started to fall in love with her character.
If we remember her role on Generations, she was the long-term girlfriend of Mazwi Moroka. Since he and his brother fought over who will take over the company, the brothers had envy over one another; the younger brother decided to target the love of his older brother’s life. In that way, he could win over him no matter the outcome of winning the family company.
Ayanda Foji’s Generations The Legacy exit
Her Generations the Legacy exit was too epic since she had an affair with a younger brother of Mazwi; she couldn’t come to terms with being in love with both brothers simultaneously. Since the more youthful brother introduced her to things like bondage, she remembered it as she was in her wedding dress. Now staring in the mirror, she couldn’t come to terms with being a wife whilst not knowing where her heart was.
The actress cut herself and bled to death in the same wedding gown she was wearing. She broke the mirror to erase that image of herself in a wedding gown with so much doubt in her heart. After breaking the mirror, there was blood on her hands, so she fell in love with the blood, and at that moment, the physical pain was better than the emotional pain. She wanted to inflict more physical pain on herself so she didn’t feel sadness.
Life doesn’t imitate the screen.
What an actor or an actress performs on the screen does not mean it will translate to reality. Fortunately for the actress, life doesn’t always imitate the screen. She found true love with a man who adores her, and by the looks of things, she is head over heels in love with him too.
The couple is very private, and we do not know much about her husband, but she’s posted him on her social media pages. On social media, she refers to him as Mr Mandidi, and we do not know where he works or his net worth. All we know about him is that the woman loves him to death, and they’ve been together for quite some time.
Since the actress is one of the most attractive actresses in Mzansi, some people call her husband one of the luckiest men in Africa. Most of her fans are happy she’s in love with and healthy and loving marriage.
