It has been one year since the passing of actor Jamie Bartlett, and his girlfriend, Rosa Onious, is still feeling the pain of her loss. Jamie, a veteran screen star known for his roles on Rhythm City and Isidingo, passed away on May 23rd, 2022, at 55, due to a heart attack. Rosa and Jamie began dating in 2019 after first meeting ten years prior. Jamie was previously married to actress Camilla Waldman.

Rosa, who discovered Jamie’s lifeless body after his heart attack, has shared her reflections on the heartbreak she experienced in the year following his death.

She shared: “Time does not heal; IT DOES NOT. We are out here living our best lives with hearts filled with pain…Smiling with hearts filled with pain…Giving the best life advice with hearts filled with pain…Out here, moving on with hearts filled with pain.

“We learn to live with pain. Pain becomes part of our daily routines. But pain can never win. Love and gratitude always win.

“I am grateful for all the time we spent, I am grateful for your existence in my life. I am grateful that you chose me.

“You may have departed from this earth, but my love for you will remain”.
