Zindzi Mandela tested positive for the Covid-19 pandemic according to her son Zondwa Mandela. South Africans have been looking for the reasons behind the death of the late icons Nelson and Winnie Mandela.
Zindzi Mandela, died on Monday in a Johannesburg hospital. Her son, Zondwa Mandela confirms in interview with SABC that she had the coronavirus but said they are still waiting for the full report on her death.
General Bantu Holomisa appeared to confirm the cause of death.

South Africa currently has 276,000 coronavirus cases and 4,079 deaths.
She is not the first Mandela family member to have contracted Covid-19 as Nelson Mandela’s grandson Ndaba tested positive for coronavirus in May.

The international relations department says Zindzi Mandela passed away in Johannesburg this morning.
Zindzi Mandela will be buried on Friday.
