Judging from his fame and luxurious life today, one can not tell Musa Keys has from rags to riches story. The musician who has been making waves lately was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth; he paved the way for himself in the competitive entertainment world to be famous today.

Musa Keys used to struggle to make ends meet while growing up. The notion of being rich and famous to him was just a dream that he could never think would come true. However, he managed to hit his jackpot in the entertainment world and has been realising hits after hits. Its true fortune favoured the bold.

Musa Keys is a not notch singer that one can think he went to school for his music career. Many may not believe it, but he doesn’t have any educational qualifications; he is a pure talent who has worked hard to be celebrated. Musa keys was born Musa Makamu until fame paved a new name for himself.

He grew up in Giyani, with him being the oldest son in a family of three children. His parents struggled to put food on the table, and as the oldest son, Musa would sell fruits after school to help his parents.

After finishing his matric, he passed with flying colours and went for tertiary education. The musician wanted to study Sound Engineering to make his parents proud, but fate decided otherwise for him. After learning his programme for one semester, Musa’s parents could not find money to fund his tuition, and he dropped out, focusing on music. He started his music without knowing that he would excel in it, becoming famous.

It looks like his hard work is now paying off as his net worth has made multiplication a testament to his earning a fortune from his music career. As of 2022, Musa Keys has a net worth of R4.8 million.
