President Ramaphosa set to reflect on the actions taken to end state capture when he appears at the Zondo Coommission next week
The President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa is set to reflect on the actions the government and ANC have taken to end state capture when appears at the commission on the 11th and 12th of August. The Zondo Commission has been associated with drama after the former president Jacob Zuma failed to attend the commission and was sentenced to jail.
This is the same commission that exposed the former Minister Gigaba and his deals with the Guptas. This time the president will complete his evidence relating to ANC as the leader of the party. The last time Ramaphosa appeared before the commission he praised them and squealers for informing the authorities.
Although the community is not a fan of whistle-blowers, the President encourages them to inform the authorities so that corruption and shady deals can be stopped.

“It is important to remember that state capture has undermined the integrity and capability of public institutions, and has profoundly damaged the effectiveness of the ANC,” said Ramaphosa.
Ever since the commission commenced many ANC leaders have been found wanting. This also includes the Deputy President whose case was postponed since he is not in the country. ANC supporters seem to be siding with Ramaphosa and feel that all those involved in corrupt cases will pay the prize for it.
However, the EFF leader Julius Malema doesn’t see it that way. According to Malema birds of the same feathers flock together so the president is also part of the deals. The country’s state has diminished and prices have gone up which Malema condemns.
