Pitso Mosimane sundowns contract: South Africa football club Sundowns have made a statement about the contract of coach of their first team Pitso Mosimane. The coach has agreed to stay at the club for another 4 years.
There has been speculation about the contract of the legendary coach who won the African Champions League with Masandawana as they are popularly known. Mosimane raised the hopes Sundowns fans when he announced he was going to speak on Instagram at 10:00am on 11 March 2020. He only confirmed he will be using the Instagram account for communication about himself and his family. Sundowns fans thronged Instagram hoping to hear about good news about the coach and the club.
Sundowns is owned by billionaire business man Patrice Motsepe. Sundowns is currently trailing Kaizer Chiefs on the Premier Soccer League standings with 4 points and a game in hand. Masandawana fans are hoping to see the season resuming to increase their chances of winning the league whilst Kaizer Chiefs hopes to see the season ended and being declares the 2019/2020 league winners.
Sundowns captain Hlompho Kekana spoke against awarding Kaizer Chiefs the league as he feels his team still has a chance to win. Kaizer Chiefs legend Lucas Radebe urged the PSL to end the league as it is and award is former team the trophy although he admitted that the decision will be hard to make.
