Pictures: Savanna cider drinkers going off the rails
It seems South Africans are picking up from where they left off the Savanna challenge and they are blowing it out of proportion. Prior to the Lockdown in December, pictures make rounds on social media with Savanna drinkers dancing with the cider bottles place on very weird places. Now that the alcohol ban has been lifted, it’s business as usual for the boozers.

Anyone who comes between South Africans and alcohol is considered an enemy and Bheki Cele has been one villain during the lockdown. Accused of using his emotions while imposing the alcohol ban, South Africans call him out on Twitter.
Liquor traders go on a rant as well, pointing out how the ban makes them lose revenue. Recently, President Ramaphosa lifts the ban much to everyone’s anticipation. The effects however are unpleasant as people are going crazy over booze. Savanna Cider will never get a better marketing strategy than this.
