Limpopo song and dance Queen Makhadzi blesses her Mum with a big house
The Matorokisi hitmaker Makhadzi built a big house for her mother in Limpopo. It is a token of appreciation for raising her, supporting her and being a shoulder to lean on. The 25-year-old musician knows the source of blessings and she has just boosted the source by making her mother proud.
Makadzi built her mum a house
Makhadzi began constructing the house last year during the lockdown. During the construction of the house, Makhadzi faced a lot of obstacles mainly caused by her manager Rita Dee who did not pay her well. Rita Dee was trolled for taking advantage of Makhadzi and not paying her dues. The Limpopo Artists Movement intervened in the matter, forcing Rita Dee to pay Makhadzi’s dues. Despite the misunderstandings with her manager, she managed to erect the beautiful blue house.
Evidently, the lockdown did not hit Makhadzi as much as it hit other artists. Many artists had a tough time coping with the lockdown as some sold properties. Other artists who made it big during the lockdown include Makhadzi’s ex-boyfriend Master KG, Nomcebo and Zanda Zakuza.
