Lingashoni actor ‘Gagashe’ Mpumi Mpama’s education qualifications stun Mzansi
Mpumi Mpama joined the Lingashoni cast this year to the pleasure of many show fans. The actor is known for taking on villainous roles and slaying them quickly as he makes everything look very easy. The world would think that the actor had professional training and is a qualified actor, but that’s not the case.
The actor grew up in a home that was big on Christianity and religious beliefs and has always believed in God. So he pursued a degree that had something to do with his passion for preaching the word of God. He is arguably the most educated actor on the Lingashoni cast as he is a whole doctor.
Mpama has a PhD in religious studies that he pursued when he was younger at the age of 29years. He had been preaching in church before he got his doctorate and is one of the most respected preachers in South Africa. This also earned him a spot as one of the Christian leaders to go to the airport and collect the remains of Nelson Mandela and escort them to his final resting place.

Given that he is an actor who ultimately gets into character when he plays roles that are the opposite of his character in real life, it has come as a shock that he is not a trained actor. He is famously known for his role in Ferguson Films‘ The Queen, where he played the role of a drug dealer.
Currently, he takes on the role of a businessman who has a dodgy side to him but then falls in love with the wife of his business partner. They are caught by Mandla’s first wife, and given Puleng’s vengeful character; she may help set the information to make the two suffer.
