SABC 1 took to social media to announce a new reality show Queens of Mzansi. The show will premier on the 15th of August at 21:00.

Lucky Mthembu
Lucky Mthembu won the Miss South Africa Teen pageant in the year 2009. She is a mother of a toddler. When she became an adult, she fell in love with a man she thought was her prince charming. What will make the show intense is the fighting when their ideas differ. The age gaps are not huge, but some are younger than others. Those dynamics will make the show pop.
Typically SABC 1 is not a television channel that focuses on many reality shows. When they do have one, it’s usually refreshing. Many viewers of the channel seem to be excited about the show. Hopefully, it lives up to the expectations of Mzansi.
