Nash Paints Owner Tinashe Mutarisi has threatened to set the police on DJ and Producer Fantan of Chillspot Records. The threat comes after Fantan used Nash Paints and Avion logos without approval
“Levels fantan ne mumwe wacho come let’s discuss the Nash Paints Logo or ndongouya musiwa 28 pa ghedhi kumasvingo ikoko ! muchazoziva kuti Maphurisa haasi Dj maakuseri! ? ,” Mutarisi posted on Facebook.
Translated to English: “Levels, Fantan and the other guy come here and lets discuss the Nash Paints logo you are using or i will come at the gate in Masvingo. That is when you will realise that the police are not DJs when they lock you in.”
Soon after his post, Mutarisi said he had reconciled with the Chillspot Records pair and they are now in good books. He then posted the poster will all logos cut off!
Passion for music
Mutarisi is a passionate music follower and promoter. He sponsors and associates with a number of musicians such as dancehall chanter Freeman, Jah Prayzah, sungura king Alick Macheso among others. He is credited for having done the script of the Ngaibake Video performed by Alick Macheso and Freeman.
Frost relations
The Chillspot Records DJ Fantan and Levels are not always in good books with their sign up artists and promoters. They recently fell out with Dancehall Musician Enzo Ishall, Silent Killer and Blot. They seem to have crossed Tinashe Mutarisi’s line too.
