Mwenezi Duo Gruesomely Kills 6-year-old Girl In Another Brutal Ritual Murder
In recent months Zimbabwe has been seen battling with an increase in ritual murders that have sent shock waves across the region.
In a disturbing incident, a duo from Mwenezi gruesomely murdered a 6-year-old girl in a related murder case. Two men from Mwenezi were recently nabbed by the police in connection with the murder case.
The deceased girl was found with missing body parts. Parts which were found missing included her private parts. Rumour has it that the privates were South Africa bound for sell.
Unfortunately, Savanna established that one of the co-accused is an older brother of the victim’s father. The duo from Chomutamba Village 3 under Chief Mazetese in Mwenezi West was nabbed on the 30th of December.
Taruziva Sithole (37) and Shackmore Dube (26), were nabbed less than 24 hours after committing the heinous crime.

This publication established that Dube who is a frequent traveller to Jozi came up with the plan. Dube tasked Sithole to sought for a young girl’s privates to supply to his upmarket clients in South Africa.
Dube indicated to Sithole that if they deliver the gruesome package there was a hefty reward. Amongst the rewards which were promised to the duo was a high-end executive car and stashes of cash.
Sithole was enticed by Dude’s promises and plotted the death of Irene Sithole. On the 29th of December around 21.00 hours, Sithole assaulted Irene Sithole to death with a log.
Irene Sithole died due to the injuries she sustained in the diabolical assault. However, Sithole then went on to place the body in a plastic-weave bag,
The duo then went on to a nearby bush to get rid of the body. The two they ripped off the girl’s privates and burned the body to destroy the evidence.
Sithole’s wife alerted the village of the thorough beating of Irene by Sithole. The claims by Sithole’s wife led to swift police officers response. The police discovered what were believed to be burnt remains of the young girl.
During their court session on Thursday, the duo was charged with Irene’s murder. They will appear in court again after the state has gathered all facts in connection to the gruesome death.
