Mohato exits Gomora through death and lands back in his Uzalo role as Amos. Gomora fans were left in shock after the fan-favorite character Mohato bit the dust. Ernest Msibi who plays Mohato exited Mzansi hit soapie Gomora through death.

In last Friday’s episode, after successfully hijacking multiple cars and getting them across the border to Maputo, Mam Sonto and her crew finally received money from Pedro. Mohato got greedy and wanted all of the money instead of settling for his hare He threatened to kill Mam Sonto for the money but he was shot by Thati. Thati and Mam Sonto then plotted to dispose of his body.

Ernest Msibi had become such a favorite with fans on Gomora, that his departure will leave a huge void on the show. The veteran actor Ernest Msibi is now headed back to Uzalo where he played the character of Amos, so fans will see him, but in a different setting.

As the time his exit was announced, a source confirmed that his exit coincided with other offers like the one from Uzalo so he still has options.
