Minnie Dlamini Jones Takes A Break From Homeground, Goes On Maternity Leave
Minnie Dlamini Jones hosted her last show for 2020 on Homeground on Monday, 19 October 2020.
The television personality took to Twitter on Tuesday, 20 October 2020 to announce that she was going on maternity leave. She announced that she will be taking a break from TV, in anticipation of the birth of her son who is expected in late 2020. Minnie is expected to make an appearance on Homeground in 2021.
She stated, “What [do] you know about a [mom that is] about to pop. I’ve had the most amazing journey and I can’t wait to meet my child. See you on TV [in] 2021, I’m out.”

Minnie and her husband, Quinton Jones, announced their pregnancy in September 2020 and revealed that they are expecting a son in early October 2020. After the announcement, the television personality continued to present Homeground alongside co-host, Lungile Radu, who will continue in her absence.
