LOL: Gomora stars Gugu’ Velile Makhoba’, and Stella Dlangalala’s viral hilarious TikTok dance video leaves Mzansi in stitches.
Gomora actresses Velile Makhoba and Stella Dlangalala, who play the roles of Gugu and Tiny, respectively, have left Mzansi in stitches after posting a viral TikTok dance video on social media.
The two stars joined Gomora towards the inception of its current season 3 and became instant fan favourites. Though the due play uptight onscreen characters, they come from a comic background and has shown fans their versatility in expressing creativity.
In Gomora, Stella Dlangalala plays the role of Tiny, the Shisanyama owner who arrived on the scene with a bang and fired her manager Bongani for incompetency. Tiny is a strict and uptight businesswoman with a history of villain Qhoqhoqho (Pakamisa Zwedala); Tiny comes across as a softie but burns like a hot coal when stepped on.
Stella became an instant hit on Gomora after impressing on the small screens when she played Three20 on Showmax hit drama series Hlomu The Wife. In The Wife, she played the role of a mentally messed up jailbird who shared a cell with Zandile (Khanyi Mbau) and witnessed a prison break when Zandile was replaced in jail by Nomusa (Lerato Mvelase). Gomora fans keep their fingers crossed for more Tiny action in the Mzansi Magic telenovela.
Her counterpart Velile Makhoba joined the Gomora cast as Gugu, a long-forgotten daughter of the late Mbongeni Ndaba. Raised by her grandmother MaChonco and uncle Phumlani (Buyile Mdladla), Gugu distastes her stepmother Thathi for turning her father against his old family. She has Gomora fans feed on her palm after putting up an excellent performance since joining the most-watched drama series.
