In case you haven’t been keeping up with the SABC 2 soapie, Kamo Letsosa, a South African actress recently join Muvhango. Kamo Tsetosa plays Master.
Muvhango shared an introductory post introducing Master captioned “@Kamooletsosa returns to South African screens to play the role of Master. Master comes into our world to reveal a dark side of KKs life”.
As if there is never enough drama in KKs life!! With her face hidden and dressed in black, Kamo’s debut was the definition of mystery.
The South African actress is no new comer to our screens as she has presented Wired up, Teenagers on a mission and Soweto TV’s music show, Street Radio. The actress also hosts events as well. Kamo Letsosa is without doubt a bundle of talent. An interesting fact about Kamo is that she is a sangoma. The actress came out about her journey as a sangoma last year.
Although the actress has generally been in and around the entertainment industry, she hasn’t got much screen time yet. Muvhango has in the few recent years been in the forefront of assisting young and upcoming actors make their mark in the industry. Muvhango’s producer Herbert Hadebe stated Muvhango’s position regarding young and upcoming talent.
While there have been cries for the industry to be opened up to individuals beyond the regular actors and actresses who often grace our screens, the producer highlighted Muvhango’s mandate to open up platforms for upcoming actors. “2021 will also mark the debut of a number of fresh faced newbies hoping to carve a niche for themselves in the industry. We want Muvhango to be a platform of endless opportunity for young and ambitious actors, ” said the producer.
It comes as no surprise as Muvhango groomed award winning veteran, Sindi Dlathu into the veteran that she is from entering the industry at a young age.
