A year into the engagement, the couple celebrated their first anniversary as an engaged couple. Andile Mxakaza bought his woman an upgrade to her engagement ring and, with the help of Lady Du’s brother, planned the surprise for her. I am sorry you never found peace in our relationship, I am proud how you stood your ground and never gave up even when you were attacked by people.I want you to find true happiness and I am happy with the decision you made, you way stronger then you look.# qiniso lami@ ladydu_sa
Lady Du faced a lot of attacks during her relationship
Recently, however, their lives turned sour. It all started after the horrific accident that took Amapiano duo Killer Kau and Mpura. The female amapiano DJ took to her Instagram to confirm that the duo was no more while people wondered if they had made it out alive. Instead of that attracting messages of condolences, Lady Du found herself being bullied by people over the death of the two. She later made a video of how she wants to be left alone to mourn in peace. Tweeps went on to attack her further as they claimed that she shouldn’t have made the video in the first place if she wanted people to let her mourn in private.
That’s when all the bullying and social media attacks of the Amapiano singer started. Lady Du has opened up about the public’s bullying that she has faced. Some people are said to have gone to the extent of scratching her car and writing derogatory names on her timeline.
