No doubt fortune favours the bold. In the wake of Isibaya axing, it seems as if Ayanda Borotho and Abdul Khoza have found a new home. Yes, the Isibay duo has bagged leading roles on an upcoming series.
The news was made known by Entertainment reporter, Phil Mphela through his Twitter. The new series will be aired on Mzansi Magic. However, he did not give any details about the new show but many of their fans are glad and looking forward to seeing they’re favourite on-screen soon.
The viral tweet by Phil saw the two trendings. Well, congratulatory messages flooded social media platforms and comments of appraisal too.
Phil said: “CASTING NEWS: Ayanda Borotho and Abdul Khoza to star in a new show. The former Isibaya stars have been cast in a series coming to Mzansi Magic. The pair played Phumelele and Qhapela respectively on the cancelled telenovela, Isibaya. #KgopoloReports”
For Abdul Khoza the gig comes barely a few months after Isibaya was called off. However, after Isibaya exit Actor, Abdul Khoza joined Durban Gen. On Durban, Gen Khoza played Simiso, a patient with a secret that causes havoc in the hospital.

However, in other news, it was reported that Sophie Ndaba winning big as she bags a gig on the radio. No doubt she winning big this year. Of late she has been off the limelight due to her health issues but she is slowly coming back to her former glory with a bang. She has secured some gigs and she is not holding back at all.
Well in the mix of things actress and businesswoman Sophie Ndaba is venturing into radio. She recently joined the newly revamped Radio BOP, where she will host a lifestyle show every Saturday.
However, Sophie said she has always wanted to pursue a career in radio, but the opportunity never presented itself. No doubt she is spreading her trade and making a name for herself in the entertainment industry again.
“Whenever I was invited to shows, I always saw myself behind the mic. I was really excited when I was approached for a slot at the station. I guess it was all about timing and I cannot wait for everyone to listen to the show as they are going to love it,” she said.
