Fortune favours the bold and Scandal’s star actress Mapaseka Koetle-Nyokong can attest to that. The seasoned actress is well known for her much loved Scandal character of Dintle Nyathi.
Rumour has it that the star actress is set for a big-money move from Scandal to a new SABC2 comedy. She will be starring alongside veteran actor, Sello Sebotsane.
Little is known about her much-awaited exit but according to inside sources the star actress is willing to join the SABC2 cast. However, she will join a long list of seasoned actors on the comedy series.
Sebotsane will play the role of Bra Pantsula, Welile Nzunza plays the role of Tshiamo, Chantal Stanfield plays the role of Jade, Duane Williams plays the role of Angelo, Meme Ditshego plays the role of Refiloe, Bahle Hadebe plays the role of Kopano and Mapaseka Koetle-Nyokong plays the role of Puleng.
Well, it seems as if Mapaseka Koetle is no stranger to comedy. She has wowed Mzansi with her controversial character on etvs hit soapie Scandal. To many, she is best known for her hilarious, comedic, sketches which she shares on her Friday shows titled, Motlotlo Friday.

Of late Scandal has become a household name when it comes to soapies, the etv’s hit soapie has wowed Mzansi for years and has managed to produce fine actors. Rumour has it that seasoned actor Patrick Mofokeng who plays Mlungisi Ngema might be exiting the drama series after bagging a role on the new 1Magic telenovela Lingashoni. Well, Scandal seems to been having cast woes indeed.
Scandal has witnessed a mass exodus of seasoned actors of late, Cindy Mahlangu who played Violetta was the latest actor to exit the show. Rumour has it that she exited the show in a wake of a new gig and so that she can also focus on her Siyanda character on The Queen. Many have speculated that Mapaseka will likely exit the show in Violetta style.
Late last year Scandal was dealt with a big blow after its three leading actors called it quits. Hungani Ndlovu who played Romeo Medupe, Masasa who played Thembeka Nyathi and Nkunzi all deserted the show under unknown circumstances. However, rumour has it that Patrick Mofokeng is mostly likely to so too. No doubt this will be a double blow for Scandal.
Now given the fact that Patrick Mofokeng has landed a new lead role rumour has it that he is set to leave the show to focus on his new gig.
