Where did Puleng ‘Tebogo Khalo’ from Rhythm City disappear to?
It’s been months now since Rhythm City got canned after 14-years of top-notch drama. We can all agree it has been the same without our fav stars gracing our small screens. In recent months many questions have been asked in regards to our star-studded cast, where are they now?
The cancellation of the drama series saw several actors like Fats (Mpho Malope) and Suffocate Ndlovu bagging gigs on new drama series. However, in the mix of things, some turned to their side hustles to keep afloat.
Since the cancellation, we have been connecting the dots and puzzling out our favourite actress Puleng. We haven’t heard or seen her in the spotlight.
Tebogo Khalo is a celebrated South African actress best known for her on-screen character Puleng Thulo on Rhythm City. She has been dupped as the South African queen! The seasoned actress was born on 31 May 1985 in Alexandra, Gauteng. However, despite being born in Alexandra, Khalo grew up in Kempton Park.
She is not so private about her love life, unlike other celebrities, and she is off the market. The actress tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend in 2011, and they have been serving more than couples goals.
Where did Puleng ‘Tebogo Khalo’ from Rhythm City disappear to?
Despite coming from a big family, the actress revealed that she doesn’t intend to have any children soon. However, the power couple indicated that they decided to raise their nephews and nieces as their biological children.
On Rhythm City, she was one of the longest-serving casts alongside Fats (Mpho Molepo), Mduduzi Mabaso‘s Suffocate and Bra Kop Khuse (Setlhabi Taunyane). She’s been on the drama since its launch in 2007.
After Rhythm City exit Mpho Molepo bagged a gig on Skeem Saam whilst Mduduzi secured a gig as a lead actor on DiepCity. However, Mzansi was wondering where could be the star actress be. Little is known about her whereabouts, but the rumour mill has that she turn to her side hustle to keep her income afloat.
She is into photography and event management. However, she also doubles as a radio present and usually hosts gigs on local radio stations. After all, being said, we hope to see the fav actress we hate to love soon on our small screens.
