Dumisani Mbebe has been in the acting industry since 1994, when he landed a role in ER. After being fired from the SABC 1 soapie, the actor went on to land roles in other series. The drama series include Soul City, Inkaba, Divers Down, and many others.

He has been in Vutha, where he took on the role of Mzwakhe Masilela, CEO at the hospital and in trouble with a loan shark for the debts he would have taken. He landed his role on Isono soon after Vutha, where he played Siviwe Mabongo, a protective father who wants the best for his son. After that, he played a criminal in human trafficking in the Mzansi Magic series Mzali wami.
Nthati Mosheshi’s previous Television roles and career
The actress is a well-known face in the industry as she has been part of the cast of Scandal for several years. She is an award-winning actress with prestigious roles in the soapies. These dramas include Saint and Sinners, Home affairs, Human Cargo, to mention a few. The actress has been open about her struggles, including going for almost a year without landing any roles. In 2018 she faced a sabbatical unwillingly after spending eight months with no work.
After struggling, the actress landed a job in the drama Lockdown, where she played a ruthless cult leader, Masabatha. After that, she had the famous role of Mother Mary in Isono, where she played a greedy yet generous woman. Her character was a community leader who went to church but was laced with darkness.
