The resemblance of the two actors is hard to miss. The Rhythm City actor, Pastor Makoro, dressed and even had a style that Thapelo possesses. They look so much alike that someone can confuse the two for each other. Let’s get to know who these two entertainers are.

Thapelo Mokoena rose to fame when he presented the second season of Fear Factor South Africa. The TV personality was not called back for the second season because the schedule clashed with another shooting he had at the time. However, his first television role was in Generations when he was cast as Karabo Moroka’s bodyguard, having a steamy affair with her. He was supposed to be on the series for three months, but it was extended to six months because the viewers loved him so much.

After his work on Generations, he landed many roles in drama series like Mzansi and Mthunzini.com. He was fired when he demanded better salary and working conditions on the latter. The actor landed a presenting job on Rise Mzansi and was a contestant in Strictly Come dancing. He has worked on many other shows besides the ones mentioned. Thapelo doubles up as a restaurant owner as well. He started his restaurant called Molitva in Gauteng in August this year.

Kabelo Moalusi is an actor who is best known for his role as Siya Radebe in Generations. He had roles in other soapies like Isibaya, Backstage, Zbondiwe and Rhythm City. He also landed a role as Roy in The Queen. Kabelo joined the Bone of my bones cast as Mokau Malefo and landed a role in The Throne as Tumelo. He has a lot of other parts on television that he has played over the years. The actor is not as active on his Instagram as his lookalike.

Are the two related?
Despite the similarities in their facial features, the two actors are not related. Thapelo is, however, related to veteran actor Fana Mokoena who is his brother. His father is also the famous owner of the Free State Stars soccer team, Mike Mokoena.
