Former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi set to host a Netflix Bridgerton soiree
Ever since she won the Miss South Africa Title in 2019, Zozibini Tunzi has been in the spotlight and embracing it. The beauty queen has been busy working on her partnership deals and all the jobs Miss South Africa throw her way. In the wake of the news of the second season of Netflix’s Bridgerton being released, Zozibini Tunzi will host a soiree in Johannesburg.
Zozibini Tunzi will host a Bridgerton soiree in Johannesburg, celebrating the debut of Bridgerton season 2. Like the Queen she is, Zozibini will take on the character of Queen Charlotte. The soiree will be held at Inanda Club on the 26th of March, which is a day after the second season premieres.
They will take their guests through a regal night filled with chaos like the series itself. Joining the former Miss Universe will be comedians Coconut Kelz and Donovan Goliath. Kelz will take on the character of the gossip author Lady Whistledown while Donovan is the Queen’s Royal Guard. For the music, Zakes Bantwini will sing Bridgerton’s Soundtrack.

The series follows the lives of the eight of Lady Bridgerton, a widow’s children, as they sought to find love. Their stories are set in London’s 17th century when balls and Queens defined society. The first season saw the third child but the first daughter married to a sought after Duke.
The second season will follow the story of the heir to the Bridgerton household, Anthony, who is the first son in his quest to look for love. Being previously known as a rake, he tries to leave his past behind. Like his sister, he falls in love without meaning to.
The first season was released in 2020 and held the spot for most-watched series until Squid games. The show’s fans have been waiting for the second season, and Netflix announced that the series had been renewed for three more seasons. Bridgerton will be released on the 25th of March on Netflix.
