The South African DJ has gone from being named one of the celebrities who are an inspiration to being exposed as a scammer in a few hours. Mzansi DJ Oscar Mbo and his manager have been exposed for being a no-show at jobs he has been hired to do and not refunding their customers.
A Twitter user called Kabzagraphiscs has shared on his page screenshots of conversations between Dj Archie and both Oscar Mbo and his manager known as Yolisa. The first chats showed that Oscar was paid for a show that was supposed to take place in October. After the DJ did not come through, the client asked for a refund from the management team. Yolisa and the team kept making excuses. When he realized that his messages were not being responded to, he called, but Yolisa was not answering. When confronted, the manager insulted the client, telling them in a rude way that her schedule was busy.
When the client saw that talking with the manager was taking him nowhere, he texted Oscar directly but was met with just as much rudeness. The DJ even went to the extent of threatening his customer that he would teach him a lesson even though the man told him the problem in a professional way. Despite the threats, the man persisted and sent account details to Oscar, who responded by asking never to be contacted again.
More of Oscar Mbo’s victims emerge after he is exposed
DJ Archie sent proof of payment of their refund after the artist had faced the wrath of Tweeps. In a surprising turn of events, other tweeps complained about the same artist, and more screenshots started emerging. Now the artist is being called out to pay all the others.
Oscar Mbo is said to have deactivated his Twitter account when the pressure from Twitter users got too much. Currently, tweeps are spamming the manager Yolisa’s Twitter page demanding that she pays DJ his refund for the job. The manager has yet to respond and is not currently available for a response.
