DBN Gogo is one of South Africa’s most celebrated female DJs at the moment. Despite coming from a prominent family the DJ, real name Mandisa Radebe has not used her family connections to ride to the top of the entertainment industry. Yesterday she took to Instagram to show off as she celebrated her first-ever Glamour magazine cover. Here is a look at DJ DBN Gogo’s Glamour magazine cover event.
In November Mandisa Radebe got the honour to grace the cover of South Africa’s edition of the International magazine, Glamour. Like the rich influencer that she is she celebrated this win in style. She threw together a fancy event to celebrate. They were some famous faces and friends who came to support the event. Some of the celebrities who attended the party were Focalistic, news reporter Phil Mphela, and Mbali Nkosi. The whole event was sponsored by the alcohol brand, Smirnoff.

The famous DJ grew up in Pretoria with her parents, Jeff Radebe and businesswoman Bridgette Motsepe. She spent four years of her life in France with her family when they lived there which is where she got exposed to music and all its variety. She started showing off her Dj skills last year during the pandemic. The nickname that she uses as her stage name was given to her by her friends and she went with it.
At the moment her name has gained her popularity and she is perfecting her craft behind the decks every day. Her following on her Youtube channel and social media handles grow as every day passes on. DBN Gogo has ruled out getting help from her family to get to the top. Even though her father and stepmother are millionaires she says that she started from the bottom with the support of her friends. Her parents got to know of her career choice after she had already started working as a Dj.
