Her Idols SA dreams crushed when she was booted out of the singing content back then but she never gave up on her dreams. Years later Idols SA season 14 finalist Nosipho Silinda has bagged her first-ever acting gig from The Queen.
The musical maestro was recently contacted by Fergusons to play the role of Cici. It might sound surprising to many but in real life, she is in fact a niece to songstress CiCi.
After her shocking exit from Idols SA in 2019, she never made a come back to the show as many thought. The 20-year-old made it to the top 10 of the signing contest.
Instead, she ventured into the music fulltime. Her thrust into the music industry came when she released her single hit Thembalami. Currently, Nosipho Silinda is signed under Gallo Record Company.

Nosipho Silinda recently took it to social media that she indeed bagged a gig on The Queen. Despite having no experience or qualification Nosipho was delighted with her new role. She did reveal that she was excited about her new role as it could give her know-how of the entertainment industry.
“I was really excited when I was told I got the role because it’s a great opportunity for me to learn and grow in the entertainment industry. It’s always been the plan for me to do more than one thing,” she told Daily Sun.
“I went over the script a million times and also practised in front of the mirror. I also watched the show just to get the feel of what exactly I needed to do,” she added.
Speaking about her role she was more pleased and couldn’t wait to wow Mzansi with her brilliance. Of late Mzansi industry has been blessed with star actors who have wowed Mzansi without any formal acting education.
Recently Mzansi hit soapie and most watch drama series Uzalo pulled a shocker when it introduced multi-millionaire Shauwn Mkhize to its cast.
