House Of Zwide Director Kagiso Modupe opens up on how he became a millionaire overnight. He has been topping trends of late after he revealed how he became a millionaire in a blink of an eye. Celebrated actor Kagiso Modupe let the cat out of the bag when he made it known that he became a millionaire thanks to his private part. In the mix of things, Mzansi has been trying to connect the dots on what he meant.
The bubbly actor and House Of Zwide director have married his wife for 12 years without being circumcised. He has it that at some point, he decided to get circumcised. However, he tagged with male clinics along the way, like Brothers For Life and Right to Care to start a public circumcision campaign.
With a massive following on social media, the actor has it that he rolled out social media campaigns which saw him earning R1 for every man who gets circumcised. Against the backdrop of this campaign, he went on to cash a whopping R1.1 million. Of interest is that he managed 1.1 million South African men to circumcise in just one day.
“It’s funny… I used my private parts to become a millionaire,” he revealed to podcaster Kagiso Moahlodi.

Of interest is that he has been dupped as one of Mzansi’s finest actors despite not being on the small screens for longer. He is best known for his on-screen character on the e.tv drama series ‘Mangaliso “Mangi” Nyathi’. In the wake of his newfound fame, he called it quits, switched to behind-the-scenes, and has been winning big. Mzansi has since likened him to “Tyler Perry”.
He had his fair share of fame with his film Losing Lerato. After being nominated six times at the Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema in California, the film made all sorts of headlines. Kagiso won the Best Actor Feature award, Samela Tyelbooi won Best Actress Feature, and his daughter Tshimollo won the Best Child Performance award.
Besides the significant awards, the film won Golden Era Humanitarian Narrative Award, Best Original Score Award and Festival Favourite Award. However, he has starred in popular serials Losing Lerato, Gog’ Helen and Unpredictable Romance.
