Satelite Images
The experts use satelite images to try to track Kim Jong Un. The look at the changes or parttens about what is happening to the leader. The y look at the central party complex.
You can tell that Kim Jong-Un is in the office due to the guards at the complex, said one of the experts who spoke to New York Times
Experts monitor movements at the central party complex, the headquarters of the ruling party of North Korea, next to where they do the military parades. It is the place where top North Korean leaders have residences. “You can tell where Kim is located by the guards deployment,” she said
A small clinic at the complex was demolished paving way for a bigger structure in March. It could be a sign that Kim required specialist medical attention and a better health delivery system experts suggest.
There are other places experts look to for indicators. The experts keep checking at North Korea’s main hospital where Kim’s family has a wing. They look at the cars parked outside the entrance and the deployment of guards
Experts also look at the train station at one of Kim’s compound. Kim Jong-un has his own train and a station. The station is close to the North Korea China border where he can easily escape to in an event of an invasion. Experts can also look at Kim’s late father’s compound he sometimes stays.
Satelite imagery doesn’t always provide answers. North Korea leaders know they are being tracked and they can disturb the satelite imagery and act differently inorder to send a wrong signal.
