Dumisani Dlamini is a South African actor currently playing the role of Dlakadla on the Showmax series The Wife. The Dlakadla character on The Wife is a taxi association chairman who replaced Baba Majola, assassinated by Nkosana Zulu(Mondli Makhoba). Dlakadla, installed by the Zulu family to lead the association in exchange for route favours, faces a daunting task as the Majola brothers bribe their way back to influence the association. The Majola brothers of Gwaza (Siyabonga Shibe) and Geja (Ntando Mncube) dug deeper into Dlakadla’s past and unearthed crimes he committed before changing his name to start a new life. Past secrets place Dlakadla in a difficult position to lead and expose him to blackmail and arm twisting.
The fate of Dlakadla on The Wife
Holding the most coveted position in the taxi business exposes Dlakadla to infighting and compromised decisions. Like any other taxi boss in South Africa, and dribbling of powerful and dangerous camps, Dlakadla will be eliminated by shooting, angry and impulsive Zulu boys will erase him from the picture.
