As 2022 ended, Gomora actress ‘Thati’ Katlego Danke talked about how 2022 was one of her most challenging years. The actress took to her Instagram Timeline to reveal that 2022 was tough for her, and she hopes that 2023 will come with blessings and joy. Taking on Instagram, she wrote:
Arguably one of the toughest years for me is ending tonight. But a defining year. A year that demanded more of me than I ever thought I had. There were some wins and there were some losses. But all gains. I won every time with every challenge because of the lessons that now shape me to be a better person. A wiser person. A person more in tune with self and where Im going and what I want. All for a future I can now taste and almost touch. Thank you 2022. Class is almost out but I’m excited for the new class and what it holds. Happy new year everyone 💃🏽🍾🥂To realising dreams in 2023. Let’s go!

The heavyweight actress made headlines in 2022 for both good and bad reasons. She topped the trends on Twitter for nailing her character as Thati on Gomora. On Gomora, she plays the character of a beauty queen who was married twice by the wealthy Ndaba brothers and was also widowed twice. She is, without a doubt doing justice to her character and Mzansi loves to hate her.

In July 2022, tongues were wagging on social media that Katlego Danke was pregnant. Well, Gomora showrunners confirmed when they featured her pregnancy on the telenovela. A close source revealed:
“It’s an open secret. The Gomora cast is already aware of it. Judging from her baby bump, she’s halfway through,” said a source. She has only informed a few people, including the producers, so they could incorporate her pregnancy into her script,”
Baby daddy drama
Katlego Danke’s pregnancy has undoubtedly left many connecting the dots on who’s the father. Rumours have it that her baby daddy was Bafana Mthembu, and the two have been spotted several times together. The dishes were sassier because Katlego is allegedly seven years older than Bafana Mthembu.
